HTCD Nepal is a secular humanitarian organization run by Christians in Nepal.
TCD Nepal is a secular humanitarian organization run by Christians in Nepal. It is also a sister organization to the Faith Foundation Nepal which translates into Nepali as “Nistha Aadhar Nepal (a government registered NGO established in 2002). HTCDN was separately registered as a non-profit company in 2019. Its executive committee is made up of five members. HTCDN works primarily among disadvantaged communities to help them through children’s education water, sanitation and hygiene education, and improvement of livelihoods.
It also provides relief aid in times of disasters such as earthquakes or floods and provides warm clothes for people in winter.

Raju Bhitrakoti
Director
Mr. Raju Bhitrakoti is the director at the HTCD Nepal. He is working in the rural development sector since 2005. Raju received his Master of Rural Development from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, and Master of Healthcare Management from Pokhara University, Pokhara, Nepal. He went to Immanuel Lutheran Seminary in Eau Claire, WI, USA for Theological Studies. He is currently working as a pastor at a local church in Lalitpur district. He is working with the HTCD Nepal to take a part in the development of disadvantaged rural communities. He has visited several districts and has experience working with the local communities. He has a passion to transform the rural and remote communities through education. He loves traveling and trekking.

To provide teachers’ training for teachers working in rural as well as urban areas.
Vocational Scholarships
To organize vocational training or scholarship programs for deserving and disadvantaged communities
Micro-Enterprise Support
To provide resources for micro-enterprises for families with low standard of living.
Clean Water Access
To provide clean drinking water for rural communities in the mountains and on the plains.
Rural Health Initiatives
Preventing Infectious Diseases and Promoting Health in Rural Communities through Sanitation and Hygiene Initiatives
Disaster Relief Aid
To provide relief aid in times of disaster and emergency.
Ending Discrimination
To reduce all kinds of discrimination prevalent in the communities through awareness and education programs.

The board members are locals from Kathmandu and they are dedicated to the development of the rural communities across the country.
OUR TEAM
The HTCDN has a team that works together to achieve the organization’s goals and visions. Our team is composed of professionals and volunteers that do not receive salary. We are glad to have a dedicated team for our projects.
We have experts, social mobilizers, volunteers to carry out our projects. There are seven other local volunteers in our working districts.
